Our client wished to make it easier for all its travelers to buy, store and use all ticket types for RTA buses, streetcars and ferries. It also wished to have a system which could improve boarding fluidity, increase commercial speed and reduce fare evasion.

SIMPLIFYING TRAVELER'S EXPERIENCE
No need to look for a Jazzy Pass reseller or vending machine to pay a fare. From the customer’s perspective, the application allows them to buy, download and store one or multiple transport tickets on their smartphone (for buses, streetcars or ferries) using a secure online payment service.
IMPROVING COMMERCIAL SPEED
We created a passenger application on both Android and iOS platforms. We helped to improve boarding flows and increase commercial speed by avoiding travelers having to queue for tickets, and reducing the time required to board vehicles.
EASIER CONTROLS
Easier controls to reduce unintentional fare evasion. We created a ticket inspection application for Android.
The inspected passenger displays the QR Code of their trip ticket on their device’s screen. The inspector scans the QR Code using their own mobile and the outcome of the inspection is then displayed on their screen.
COST-EFFICIENT
We helped our client cost-efficiently diversify its sales channels by dematerializing ticket sales and validation.
