The success of Oise Mobility: A multimodal, ticketing and SAE information system

How did the Syndicat Mixte des Transports Collectives de l'Oise (SMTCO) succeed in creating a multimodal and ticketing information system shared by 20 mobility organizing authorities?

Background of the project

The first version of the SISMO project, initiated in 2009 and entrusted to Cityway and its partners, is a comprehensive system combining passenger information and ticketing for mobility in the Oise region.

SMTCO renews its confidence in Cityway and its partners Equans, and Kuba for an additional 10 years through a public-private partnership contract. Since its publication in 2023, SISMO has evolved to encourage seamless mobility that perfectly integrates interoperable ticketing, an SAEIV and a multimodal passenger information system.

This system offers the means to manage the entire mobility offer of the territory in a unique universe through a decision-making tool.

What is a MaaS platform?
keyboard_arrow_down

A MaaS platform, an acronym for “Mobility as a Service”, is an integrated mobility application bringing together different modes of transport within a single platform. We also talk about “service mobility”. It aims to offer users a comprehensive solution for their travel needs in a given city or territory, by combining various services such as public transport, carpooling, self-service bikes and other mobility options.

How can a MaaS solution improve mobility in a territory?

Above all, a MaaS tool such as Cityway represents opportunities for a city or territory to save time in transport management. Repetitive tasks are automated, allowing you to devote your time to essential missions. In addition, our tools improve operational performance, making it possible to streamline operations by reducing expenses. A MaaS platform also allows you to gain control: all the data collected is returned to a dashboard, allowing you to make informed decisions. Finally, let's not forget the clear benefit that such a solution brings to your image: our mobile applications and websites contribute to promoting the network and giving it a positive image among travelers.

Can I customize the MaaS application to the image of my network?

Absolutely! With Citiway, your mobile application and website are white labeled, so that they can be recognized by travelers. Add your logo, colors, domain name, and the application to the main stores.

In what locations is your MaaS platform used?
